Lake Manyara National Park is a protected area in Tanzania’s Arusha and Manyara Regions, situated between Lake Manyara and the Great Rift Valley. It is administered by the Tanzania National Parks Authority, and covers an area of 325 km2 (125 sq mi) including about 230 km2 (89 sq mi) lake surface. More than 350 bird species have been observed on the lake.
Since the 1920s, Lake Manyara area was used for sports hunting.In 1957, a game reserve was established. In 1960, it was given National Park status and in 1974 about 550 ha (1,400 acres) were added to the southern end. The majority of the land area of the park is a narrow strip running between the Gregory Rift wall to the west and Lake Manyara, an alkaline lake, to the east. The national park only includes the northwest quadrant of the lake, about 200 km2 (77 sq mi). It is part of the much larger Lake Manyara Biosphere Reserve, established in 1981 by UNESCO as part of its Man and the Biosphere Programme. (Wikipedia)

3 Hours Before Flight Time
After breakfast 7:30 am depart for Arusha with shuttle bus arriving Namanga border town at around 10:30 am after lunch proceed for game drive at Lake Manyara National Park, the park is famous for its unusual tree-climbing lions and the vast elephant herds it was established to protect. Dinner and overnight at campsite.
After breakfast descend 2000fts (670 m) into the crater floor with your picnic lunches, full day is spent in the park with lunch break at Ngoitoktok springs picnic site. The main crater is 165 km and is home to many species such as the black manned lions, Rhinos, Buffaloes, Elephants and other Grazing animals. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
After breakfast leave Ngorongoro for Olduvai Gorge. Lunch at Gorge Museum after lunch tour the sites of the Gorge Museum to see where the remains of prehistoric man were discovered by the famous archaeologist Dr. L.S. B. Leakey, proceed to Serengeti plains, for afternoon game drives. Dinner and overnight at the campsite
The Serengeti which is aMasai for “endless plains”. The Serengeti is known as one of the greatest wilderness areas in the world, the Serengeti supports a magnificent diversity and abundance of animals, from the Big Five – lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and black rhino to giraffe, Grant’s gazelle, impala, kongoni, topi and eland. We enter the park through the western corridor which is the lesser travelled route and game drive en-route to our campsite in the centre of the park.
After breakfast Depart for Tarangire arriving in time for lunch, afternoon game drive in the Tarangire National Park. Tarangire means ‘river of warthogs’ the park is most famous for its elephants, birding and plentitude of baobab trees. Dinner and overnight at the Campsite.
After breakfast and your final game drive in the Tarangire National Park depart for Arusha with lunch enroute. Overnight at the budget hotel. Dinner will not be provided.
After breakfast depart to Nairobi with an Am shuttle bus which will be arriving Nairobi in the afternoon drop at the Airport or Hotel.
